My youngest daughter's birthday request took three of my grown children. Now hooked, I have to say this was my first ballet experience ever. Throughout, I laughed, cried, ahhed, and oohed; the production was incredible. Neither in the ballet nor in the reaction of the audience, there was never a dull moment, which included many children who only enhanced the experience. I'm certainly no expert, but I thought all of the dancers were extraordinary, the music was beautiful, and the costumes and sets were perfect. The humorous moments added in were so original. I can safely say that all four of us would gladly see Sammy Rae and The Friends again and again, judging from our hours-long retelling of every moment of the ballet over and over again afterward.
